Stainless steel rope
Stainless steel rope with core – for barn and forest.
For manure scrapers from almost all manufacturers or for the forestry winch: stainless steel ropes that don’t rust in the barn and stay flexible on the drum.

Applications
One rope, two uses.
Barn
Rope for manure scrapers
In the barn, the rope works permanently in manure, slurry and ammonia. A stainless steel rope does not rust there – and lasts much longer than a galvanised steel rope.
- Fits manure scrapers from almost all manufacturers
- Rust-free in slurry, manure and barn air
- On reels of 500 m or 1,000 m
Forestry
Rope for the winch
When skidding timber, the rope is constantly wound and unwound. The polypropylene core separates the steel strands – the rope wears less and stays flexible.
- For tractor-mounted winches
- Flexible on the drum
- On reels of 500 m or 1,000 m
Fits
For manure scrapers from almost all manufacturers.
Our stainless steel ropes replace the rope on manure removal systems from, among others:
GEA
DeLaval

Manufacturer names are only given to indicate which systems the ropes fit.
Why stainless steel with a core
Rust-free outside, protected inside.
Inside the rope there is a polypropylene core. It separates the steel strands from each other – so there is no steel running on steel, and the rope does not wear from the inside. The result: your stainless steel rope lasts much longer.
Rust-free
Stainless steel withstands slurry, manure and moisture.
No steel on steel
The polypropylene core separates the steel strands. Less wear from the inside – the rope lasts longer.
Keeps its shape
The core supports the strands – the rope stays round and does not get crushed.
Flexible
Runs cleanly over pulleys and winds up evenly.
Large reels
500 m or 1,000 m on one reel – enough stock for several rope changes.
Versions
Two grades – 8 or 10 mm, on 500 m or 1,000 m reels.
Both with a polypropylene core. Which one suits you depends on your floor and the deflection pulleys of your system.
Robust
Stainless steel V2A (304) · 8×7 + PP
8 strands of 7 wires each – thicker individual wires, particularly wear-resistant.
- Wear-resistant on rough floors
- For large deflection pulleys (min. 40 × rope diameter)
- The more economical version
Diameter:
8 mm
10 mm
Reel:
500 m
1,000 m
Ideal for: rough alleys and systems with large deflection pulleys.
Very flexible
Stainless steel V4A (316) · 6×19 + PP
6 strands of 19 wires each – finer wires, very flexible. V4A is also particularly acid-resistant.
- Also runs over small deflection pulleys (min. 25 × rope diameter)
- For tight deflections and small winches
- High-grade stainless steel V4A (316)
Diameter:
8 mm
10 mm
Reel:
500 m
1,000 m
Ideal for: systems with small pulleys and tight deflections.

Frequently asked questions
Questions about stainless steel rope.
Which rope fits my manure removal system?
Tell us the manufacturer and type of the system or measure the diameter of the old rope. The easiest way: send a photo via WhatsApp – we will find the right rope.
Why stainless steel instead of galvanised steel rope?
In the barn, slurry and ammonia attack galvanised ropes – they rust and break. Stainless steel, on the other hand, is resistant and therefore lasts much longer.
Which rope diameters are available?
As standard we offer the stainless steel rope in 8 mm and 10 mm – in two grades: V2A 8×7 (robust, for rough floors) and V4A 6×19 (very flexible, for small deflection pulleys).
What does the polypropylene core do?
It separates the steel strands from each other so that there is no steel running on steel. As a result, the rope wears less from the inside and lasts longer.
In which lengths is the rope available?
We supply the stainless steel rope on reels of 500 m or 1,000 m. We do not offer cut-to-length.
